Due to long-time identity chaos with Abuse (take a look at last.fm, for example) i decided to use new name for the project. From now, there is no Abuse anymore. Let me introduce The Autumnist, an author of forthcoming album The Autumnist.

A bit of The Autumnist on the web: Part of new track The Velvet Incident is used in presentation of Ventuz multitouch display. One of the authors of the software is Clad, a long time VJ collaborator of Abuse.

I was asked a couple of times what The Autumnist will sounds like. Well, play those two videos simultaneously :))) Please decrease the volume of Autechre (2nd) slightly.
To be more serious, i can give you some facts - there will be nine tracks on the album oscilating from silent tension to more hectic pieces...as usually :). A lot less of samples are used this time, a bigger portion of glitches, dub-like bass, mostly live drums and huge amount of very oldfashioned true analogue synths (I did not mentioned John Carpenter by chance). 8 tracks of 9 finished.

A few months ago a coleague of mine created short film with our song Riverphonic used in background. Later, this film was selected to enter the World One Minutes exhibition at Today Art Museum Beijing. But...

Dear participant of the World One Minutes exhibition in the Today Art Museum,
Every person who wants to officially participate in an exhibition in China has to have permission of the Ministry of Culture. The ministry has found 37 one minutes “unfit” to show in China. About 800 one minutes past the test and where found good for showing. Unfortunately your video belongs to the small group of “unfit” one minutes.
